We learned about environmental artists Jeanne Claude and Christo who wrapped bridges and buildings and even trees. Getting permission to wrap the Reichstag, the German parliament building, for example, required a lot of scientific thinking (materials?), mathematical thinking (area? perimeter?) and artistic thinking (will this be beautiful?).
Then we thought about things we would like to wrap ourselves! 5th Class made drawings of their teacher wrapped and 4th actually went out and about looking for things to wrap! Can you guess what got wrapped in this photo?
